Introducing Pearl's New Virtual Certification System for Agents

Are you working with clients who have high-performing home features, such as ENERGY STAR^® appliances, excellent insulation, or updated HVAC systems? Pearl Certification makes it easy to showcase these features to potential buyers, explaining how they contribute to a better quality of life and even a higher property value. By adding a Pearl Certification to your listing, you'll show potential buyers why your client’s home is worth more. We know agents are busy, so we’ve made the $99 virtual certification process simpler than ever with a new two-step system:

Step 1 - An agent fills out a certification request form on Pearl's Certify a Home page and immediately receives an email confirmation/data receipt. Within 24 business hours, the agent receives a customized data form with requested photos/documents to verify the home's high-performing features.

Step 2 - The agent then submits the requested information to Pearl's real estate team via the data form. The team reviews the information and emails the agent with clarifying questions, if needed. Once the real estate team has all the necessary data, the agent receives the digital certification package within two business days.

To maximize the impact of the certification, Pearl suggests that agents begin the certification process around the same time they would begin scheduling a photographer for their listing. This will allow the agent to incorporate Pearl's materials into their listing from the beginning, attracting more potential buyers and standing out from the competition.

As closing approaches, Pearl reaches out to the listing agent with steps to transfer the Pearl account (the Green Door app account for the home) from the seller to the buyer. Additionally, agents receive an optional survey to provide feedback on their Pearl experience.
