It’s that time of year when gratitude feels like it’s in the air everywhere. But here at Pearl, we believe practicing gratitude should be a year-round activity. Of course, we don’t just talk the talk, we walk the walk. In fact, every week at Pearl, we have an all-staff “meeting” called Thankful Thursday, during which the sole purpose is to share what we’re feeling grateful for. (Check out the screenshot from a recent Thankful Thursday above and you’ll get a sense of how much we all enjoy this time.)
Showing appreciation for others is also built into our Pearl Contractor qualifications — and we recently wrote about how an “attitude of gratitude” is not only good for the soul, it’s good for business too.
Of course, we couldn’t help but want to amp up the gratitude this month. In honor of the upcoming Thanksgiving holiday, we wanted to publicly express our sincere gratitude to all the people who make our work meaningful and enjoyable: The Pearl Contractors who work hard to improve homes, the real estate professionals who ensure those homes are valued properly, the homeowners who use Pearl Contractors to improve their home’s performance, and the industry partners who support us along the way. We certainly could not do what we do without your support—and for that, we are very thankful.

A common theme that I have recognized across the various contractor types from all over the country is their commitment to their employees. If they take care of their employees, their employees will take care of their customers, which helps to elevate their business.
